Game Schedules
Game schedules have been distributed to the teams for the season. These are not carved in stone. Changes may be be made. Just a reminder, All games count for points this season. You must phone in your results to the Vernon Ringette Association. They are handling the standings. A list of standings can be viewed on our website. Individual team schedules are also available on the website.

Exhibition Games
Exhibition games have been arranged for upcoming Penticton Panthers games. Team TBA and dates. We have several dates available and will be announced when confirmation from the teams has been received. Team involved will most likely be the Debs, Deb All-Stars and Junior All-Stars. Thanks to Byant Perrier of the Panthers for this oppertunity.

Fund Raising We still need someone to fill the Fund Raising position on the Board of Directors. Anyone who shops at Super Value keep your grocery slips. $5000 in grocery slips gives us $20.

Thank you to Money Concepts and Price & Markle for sponsoring our Junior and Deb teams. We still need a sponsor for our novice team. Any businesses interested please contact us. The Deb and Junior All-Star teams are also in need of sponsors to offset the costs of travel and ice time.

Ringette Sticks
It is strongly recomended that every player use an approved Ringette stick. Cut off hockey sticks have been known to cause injury because they are not prepared properly. Stinger 7000 sticks are available at Sports Traders in various colours. The RingJet stick from Finland is also available. Contact any member of the all-star teams for info on these sticks.

Ringette Masks
The Ringette mask is manditory. Referee's have the right to prevent ANY player from playing if they do not have an approved mask. Goalies wearing goalie masks are required to purchase the Ringette mask for the goal mask. Regulat masks are approved for goalies.

Website Information
If anyone has pictures, stories, poetry, or ideas for the website, please contact Michelle Parkin at 492-4930 or email at
I would like player profiles of every player in the association. Look at the website to find out.

Good Luck to all the teams this season.
